There will be no delivery of Christian Aid envelopes this year, due to the Corona Virus; instead there is to be a Virtual Week.
There are three different ways to donate:
- Mobile phone – Text GIVE (must be capitals) to 70040 to donate £5 (this can be repeated as often as desired!) Donations will be acknowledged in seconds.
- Cheques made out to Christian Aid can be sent to Freepost Christian Aid. A short covering letter will enable acknowledgement but this may take some time.
- Online at caweek.org or call 08080 006 006 with debit or credit card ready.
If people could pass this information on to as many as possible especially those outside the congregation so much the better!
This year the appeal is for water supply to those especially affected by climate change, but we remember those in inferior health, in humanitarian camps in Syria, the Rohinga refugees in Bangladesh, the Haiti Hurricane survivors, and many others with reduced resistance to the Corona virus.
