Book Exchange – Thursdays

A Message from the CWF Group

Have you run out of reading material during the lockdown? Some of us have been accumulating lots of books, mainly fiction, and now have quite a collection which are in plastic boxes and stored just inside the east door of St Leonard’s.

If anybody would like to come along and browse the books – you can look but not touch! – and take one or more away, we will have them available on Thursday afternoons from 2.30 – 4 pm, in the side garden of St Leonard’s.

We will of course be social-distancing; if necessary we will operate a one-way system and there will be no access to the church premises.

This is an initiative from Isobel Clifford of the CWF Group and we thought we would give it a try. We have about 100 books and if anybody wished to add a couple to our collection, that would be welcomed. However we don’t want vast numbers of books at this stage so no need to clear out your attic!

There will also be an opportunity to buy from the Fairtrade Stall too.

Kind regards, Muriel Gray
